Himmelslaternen als UFOs auch im Sommer 2009 very beliebt! - Breaking News: UFO seen by entire city of Chengdu, China? Video sieht auch nicht anders als der Mond aus!

Samstag, der 4.Juli 2009. An diesen Samstagmorgen lag die kurze eMail ´UFO am Himmel´ von Elena K. auf: "Ich  hab heute 3.07.2009  kurz nach 23 Uhr 5 runde, rote, helle Flugobjekte  gesehen. Es waren eindeutig keines mir bekanter Flugobjekte. Das war zusehen im Schömberg bei Pforzheim. Die sind  geflogen Richtung Süden. Wir  haben ein Foto gemacht aber das ist nicht so eindeutig zu sehen."

Um 13:30 h erreichte mich Walter G. aus Barnim-Panketal, dessen Familie gestern Nacht um gegen 23 h über dem Ort zwei rötliche Lichtkörper für einige Minuten lautlos hat dahinziehen sehen. Er und seine Frau waren auf dem Balkon gesessen, als die beiden nicht ganz runden Lichtobjekte von links ins Gesichtsfeld hoch am Himmel hereinkamen. Sie blinkten nicht, aber schienen "irgendwie von Innen heraus zu pulsieren". Sie riefen nach den beiden Söhnen (16 und 17 Jahre alt), die im Wohnzimmer Fernsehen schauten. Auch sie konnten die beiden Objekte ausmachen, wie sie gegen rechts hin noch etwa eine Minute dahinzogen und dann "irgendwie vergingen", binnen Sekunden weg waren.

Aus Burscheid meldete sich Matthias H. um 16 h, der ebenso gestern Nacht gegen 24 h etwa auf den Balkon ging, um nach eine Zigarette zu rauchen, dabei fiel ihm sofort auf, dass da ein "Feuerball" dahinschwebte. Da Ding flog hoch über den Häusern dahin und "eher hoch als tief". Die Beobachtung dauerte etwa 2-3 Minuten ("eher 3 Minuten") und dann eilte der Mann in den Flur um sein Handy zu holen, aber als er nach etwa 30 Sekunden zurückkam, war nichts mehr zu sehen, obwohl der Himmel noch frei war. Es war eher so als "wenn da was sehr dunkles und sackartiges" dort dahintrieb, wo er das zuvor das UFO vermutet habe, aber das kann auch eine Täuschung gewesen sein und verlor sich sowieso bald. Sicher war aber das "Feuerball"-Objekt zuvor nie und nimmer eine Täuschung, es war ja unübersehbar über der Stadt zu sehen gewesen! Ein Flugzeug oder ein Hubschrauber war auf jeden Fall auszuschließen.

Größe, Helligkeit, Höhe, optische Erscheinung am Himmel - stimmt. ABER es gibt diese krumme Story von http://www.allnewsweb.com/page69669... dazu:

A strange object was seen in the skies above Whitehill in Hamilton on Tuesday night. A young Hamilton woman captured this picture on her mobile phone of what she described to be a "fireball" at about 11pm. Natalie Smith was dropping her friend back home in James Murdie Gardens when she noticed the unusual-looking orange glow in the sky. The 20-year-old South Lanarkshire Council clerical assistant explained: "We were both sitting inside my car when we noticed something in the sky. It looked like a fireball, like a big piece of ash, but it was the size of a football. It had an orange glow. We sat and watched it for a bit but when I went to drive away it disappeared behind the trees at Whistleberry Road. I have no idea what it was it was just a strange sight to see."

Natalie, who lives in Burnbank, headed back in her car to drop another friend off at Eddlewood before returning home that evening. It is not known if atmospheric conditions could have been responsible for the light´s sudden appearance.

Steve O´Donnell was on his way home from Sellafield when he saw two orange objects flying less than 100m from his home. Rushing to his house, he photographed the lights which he described as "effervesce with no obvious solid edges." He said: "At their lowest point of travel the closest object had a diameter of about one centimetre to the naked eye but its actual size was impossible to determine due to lack of cloud cover to give an accurate distance reference point. The two objects stayed in close proximity to each other as they flew but at varying distances and appeared to be travel at varying speeds until they accelerated into the distance."

Steve said there was no sound coming from the lights, but he dismissed the idea that they were Chinese lanterns. "As I made the sighting less than 100m from my home I managed to get back and my wife captured the pictures," he said. "I have no idea what the objects might have been. I also witnessed a similar sighting about 12 months ago, along with my wife but the lights on that occasion were further south in the sky." Steve had contacted Pat Regan, founder of North West UFO Research. Pat asks if anyone else saw the lights, at around 22.40 on Sunday June 14, to contact 01704 571920.<

Roswell, N.M. (KRQE-KBIM) - Thousands lined the streets of Roswell Friday night for one of the annual UFO Festival´s biggest events. The alien parade landed in the middle of Main Street with costumed super heroes and the super weird sharing in the fun. Alien parade brought out veterans like Pam O´Neal who know the name of the game. "I´ve lived here all my life so I´ve seen some pretty strange things," she said.

Some sat back to enjoy the hour long show while others couldn´t stay off their feet. There were just as many cameras as there were characters tonight. Many on the sideline couldn´t resist getting into the act while kids lined the street as candy was thrown into the air by the handful. Old fashioned cars and old friends also landed to say hi. Skeptic or believer, it didn´t matter as music, colors and creativity stole the show. From the cool to the creepy, many here said this parade is one-of-kind no matter what planet you´re from "Everything is pretty cool," one man said. "I don´t know any other city that does this."

Earlier Friday Martians, cone heads and other creatures strutted their stuff in the alien costume contest. More than 40 kids and adults vied for prizes in several categories including most unique and best alien costume.

The festival runs through Sunday.<

Roswell NM: For most, the 4th of July means fireworks, BBQs and a whole lot of red, white and blue. But in Roswell, this weekend has people thinking green--as in little green men. This year marks Roswell´s 14th annual UFO festival, which plans to draw an international crowd.

Festival coordinator Renee Roach said Thursday, "We were given the gift of having a unique heritage, and we use that heritage to leverage ourselves with that brand." Organizers say the economy appears to be no match for curiosity; demand for lodging is up from last year. The Sussman family from Gilbert, Ariz. Made the festival part of their family vacation. "We heard the alien festival was going to be in town so we had to stop by Roswell," Mike Sussman said. Along with the annual parade, visitors can expect to see more than just aliens. Roach said, "We have Marvel Comics characters coming, we have Jefferson Starship, which will be amazing."

Organizers hope to bring more than 50,000 people to Roswell over the weekend. The festival wraps up Sunday.<
