(UFO-)Faschingsdienstag, der 24.Februar 2009 - und darauf gleich einen ´Blauen Klaus´ in seiner Adamski-Untertasse im Namen von Loriot! Da past alles wieder wie selten sonst genommen zusammen und geht weit über den närrischen Sinn hinaus! Ehrlich und wirklich! Und wenn Sie jetzt denken mögen, dass der WW sich nur über die Schlangengrube und den Hexenkessel UFOlogie lustig macht - dann haben Sie einfach den Punkt getroffen, schließlich hat sie es sich ganz gut verdient und sich darum auch mit aller Kraft mit ihrem ´Elferrat´ der UFOlogie-Promoter als die neuen Jecken bemüht. Wenn unser Gegenentwurf zur UFOlogie ihr nicht gefällt ist dies ganz selbstverständlich, da CENAP von Anfang an für die Ufo{o}logie eine a) Alternative und b) Provokation war - nach nunmehr 33 Jahren wird dies wohl selbst der allerletzte UFOloge es eingesehen haben, wenn er einfach mal nachdenkt. Doch warum ist dies so? Wir denken schon, dass die Archillesferse für die nüchterne UFO-Forschung eben das Personal aus der UFOlogie darstellt, welches sich unter dem Deckmantel von ´Forschung´ bzw einer ´UFO-Forschungsgruppe´ nach wie vor naiv und esoterisch anstellt und verhält.

Da gilt es immer darauf zu hoffen, dass die Chefs die Zügel arg angezogen halten können, um die Kontrolle zu bewahren. Ein Automatismus ist dies jedoch im ´Pararaum´ mit dem ´Tunnelblick-Effekt´ auf das UFOtaintment-Show-Mystery von ´Akte X´ nicht - hierzulande sehe ich dies konkret bei DEGUFO und MUFON-CES nicht, um dies nicht im verräucherten Halbdunkel mitschwimmen zu lassen und Roß und Reiter zu nennen. Egal, welche ´himmlischen PR-Märchenschlößer´ darum als Kartenhaus mit Blendeffekten zur Augenwischerei ´gezimmert´ worden sind. Etwas Medien- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit...

Gegen 10 h meldete sich ´Radio Wien´, um mich für den Mittwochabend zu einer Radiosendung rund um das Thema ´Weltraum´ als telefonischer Interviewpartner in Sachen UFOs zu gewinnen. Also gut.

Zur Mittagsstunde meldete sich eine Redakteurin der ´Rheinpfalz´-Regionalausgabe für Kaiserslauern, da sich dort ein älteres Ehepaar aus Mittelbrunn gemeldete hatte, weil es gegen 0:30 h in der vergangenen Nacht einen "unheimlichen, lautlosen und langsamen rot-orangenen Feuerball" am Himmel gesehen hatte und sich nun fragte, ob dies entweder ein brennendes Flugzeug oder ein Meteor gewesen war. Die Beobachtung habe aber 5 Minuten gedauert, zwischendurch seien "rötliche Funken" nach unten weggeflogen und die Erscheinung in die Wolken hinein wieder verschwunden.

Deutsche Sternengucker können den giftgrünen Kometen Lulin nur mit viel Glück mit bloßem Auge erkennen, wenn er heute an der Erde vorbeifliegt. Lulin sei "schlicht und einfach nicht hell genug", sagte Ansgar Engel vom Deutschen Wetterdienst. Man brauche deshalb einen dunklen Himmel und keine störenden Lichtquellen, um den Kometen zu sehen. Außerdem dürfe es weder Dunstfelder noch Wolken geben. In den kommenden Nächten sei dies aber nicht zu erwarten. "Wolkenlücken sind Glückssache", sagt Engel. Der im Juli 2007 entdeckte Komet bewegt sich heute durch die Sternbilder Jungfrau und Löwe. Seine grüne Farbe stammt vom giftigen Farbstoff Cyanogen, der bei vielen Kometen vorkommt.<

Nachsatz WW: Von wegen grüner Abendstern in Sichtweite und mit bloßem Auge sichtbar! Da spielt bei den Medienmeldungen der Wunschgedanke eine große Rolle, mehr als in der Realität für den Kometen belastbar rüberkommt. Klar, der Komet Lulin kommt in dieser Nacht der Erde am nächsten, der Weltraum rückt uns ´näher´ sozusagen. Aber für interessierte Himmelsgucker wird dies leider eine herbe Aschermittwochs-Flop-Überraschung werden - allein schon mal der Wolken wegen.

Von den UFOs über England ist wieder was im alten Spiel zu vernehmen...

´Orange UFO spotted over Long Ditton´ hieß es beim ´Surrey Comet´ ( http://www.surreycomet.co.uk/news/4... ) hierüber:

My husband is a bit of a UFO geek and when he came out and saw it he got goose bumps. I think it would be extremely arrogant of us to think that we are the only people in the universe. I wouldn´t be surprised if there was alien life, I don´t know about little green men and all that rubbish but if we can work it out, why can´t anyone else?"

Investigator David Willey, of the North Surrey Paranormal Group, said it was the first credible sighting he has come across this year. But he suggested that the orange light could have been a shooting star {? - auch wieder ein ufologischer Depp in Anbetracht der Sichtungszeitdauer-Aussage "for several minutes"} without a tail or a piece of space debris that burnt up in the atmosphere. He added: "If it shot off really quickly or if it shot up vertically, then I would be really suspicious."<

Mr Knight, a 43-year-old pricing analyst, said he was certain the lights were not from low-flying aircraft. He said: "We know we are under the Heathrow flightpath and we know the directions the planes fly in and the noises they make. I have never seen a line of orange lights and they were too dim to be lights on an aircraft. It couldn´t have been a helicopter as it was deadly silent. They gradually got dimmer and disappeared one at a time within five minutes. They had just gone."

Mr Knight said he attempted to photograph the strange lights on a digital camera, but nothing came out. Wife Jan initially spotted the lights and called out to her husband to ask if he could see the same thing as her. However, nobody else in Hollybush Road saw them. "I asked my friend across the road and some others and no one else saw or heard anything," said Mr Knight. "Someone asked me if I had been drinking, which I hadn´t." He added: "I went straight on the internet after it had happened to find if there had been any sightings in Chesham and saw on the Bucks Free Press website there was a report from 2007 where someone saw something similar. I didn´t disbelieve and I didn´t believe but this just seemed so strange, I couldn´t explain it. We were up until one o´clock in the morning looking on the internet trying to see if anything came up."

´Light in the sky is not a UFO!´ war die Headline beim ´Grimsby Telegraph´ ( http://www.thisisgrimsby.co.uk/news... ) hierzu:

The night was very quiet, there was no sound of a helicopter or aeroplane - it almost looked like a searchlight, but there was no beam." Jax Hussain, LA´s promoter, said: "We basically use it as a promotional tool to try and attract customers and I think it works. Customers say they follow the light. I was doing some DJ work in Doncaster and I could see it from the A180 there. It is definitely not a UFO, as some people are worrying."<

Nachsatz WW: Ist schon erstaunlich, wie selbst ein Skybeamer heutzutage noch UFO-Irritationen auslösen kann. Trollig: ´Sprites´ als UFO-Phänomen-Erklärung passend zum Karneval

Es hat ja mal kommen müssen, und die 5. Jahreszeit ist dazu bestens geeignet. Ahoi! "A sprightly explanation for UFO sightings?" hieß es als Headline bei ´ScienceMode.com´ ( http://sciencemode.com/2009/02/23/a... ) hierfür:

"We now understand that only a specific type of lightning is the trigger that initiates sprites aloft." Though sprites have existed for millions of years, they were first discovered and documented only by accident in 1989 when a researcher studying stars was calibrating a camera pointed at the distant atmosphere where sprites occur. "Sprites, which only occur in conjunction with thunderstorms, never occur on their own, and are cousins to similar natural phenomenon dubbed by atmospheric electricians as ´elves,´ ´goblins´ and ´trolls,´" Prof. Price says. These flashes are so named because they appear to "dance" in the sky, which may explain some UFO sightings {? - nur welche genau, bitte sagen Sie es uns doch mal und halten uns nicht so hin} .

Candles on a Celestial Birthday Cake - Tel Aviv University´s research team is one of the leading global groups studying the phenomenon. But Prof. Price and his students are now working in collaboration with other Israeli scientists from The Open University and The Hebrew University to take three-dimensional pictures of sprites to gain a better understanding of their structure. Using remote-controlled roof-mounted cameras, the researchers are able to look at the thunderstorms that produce sprites when they are still over the Mediterranean Sea. From their unique vantage point in Israel, the researchers are leading the world in the study of winter sprites. Prof. Price´s new camera techniques, in particular, have revealed the sprites´ circular structures, which are much like those of candles on a birthday cake. Using triangulation, Prof. Price and his team have also been able to calculate the dimensions of the sprites´ features. "The candles in the sprites are up to 15 miles high, with the cluster of candles 45 miles wide -- it looks like a huge birthday celebration!" Because of their high altitude, sprites may also have an impact on the chemistry of the Earth´s ozone layer. "Since they are relatively infrequent, the global impact is likely small," says Prof. Price. "But we´re researching that now."

Nachsatz WW: Mit dem gewitterlichen Hochatmosphären-Sprite-Phänomen haben wir uns als solches längst schon informatorisch-präventiv befasst*, aber echte oder gar "bizarre" UFO-Sichtungen sind uns deswegen nocht nicht begegnet. Weder in der eigenen Fallpraxis, noch bei unserem UFO-´Monitoring´ in aller Welt! Naturwissenschaftlich und physikalisch gesehen sind natürlich die ´Sprites´ als Wunder der Natur bemerkenswert, ganz klar - Quatsch und an den Haaren künstlich herbeigezogen ist aber die UFO-Connection von ihnen! So wird die israelische Sprite-Forschung nur mit einem massenattraktiven Aufkleber verkauft, um überhaupt auffällig zu werden. Die rhetorischen UFOs sind nur ein PR-Mittel, um als verbales Reizwort-Nutzfahrzeug für die Studien um ´Sprites´ zu dienen, mehr nicht. Und so muss man es auch sehen, für die UFO-Frage hat dies selbst keinerlei Bedeutung, weil einfach nur Käse.

Und dann nahm diese Geschichte eine Form an, die so einfach NICHT korrekt und NICHT in Ordnung ist. ´Those aren´t UFOs, they´re lightning -- wink, wink´ kam es hier beim ´The Flint Journal´ ( http://blog.mlive.com/flintjournal/... ) absolut falsch und total übersteigert auf: "...scientists now say that most {! - aus "einigen" wurden jetzt comicheftchenmäßig mutantenmäßig "meiste"} UFO sightings are probably nothing more than a natural weather phenomenon known as ´sprites.´..." Dies ist einfach dummes Zeugs auf der ´wissenschaftlichen Seite´, was aber die Medien in ihremeigenen Marketing hochtreiben und selbstverantwortlich aufgrund von Eigeninteressen promoten - einfach auch um die eigene Ohnmacht dem UFO-Thema gegenüber zu vertuschen. Dann verbreitete die jüdische Nachrichtenagtentur JTA ( http://jta.org/news/article/2009/02... ) die Story "´Sprites´ may explain UFO sightings". Und dann kam die Story plötzlich auch bei den einflussreichen Fox-News ( http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933... ) im Amiland hoch: "Natural Explanation Found for UFOs" war die Headline dazu "Mysterious UFO sightings may go hand in hand with a puzzling natural phenomenon known as sprites -- flashes high in the atmosphere triggered by thunderstorms...." Ist schon alles ziemlich perfide, wenn man sieht, wenn die Brit-Press aus jeder Himmelslaterne künstlich den ´UFO-Faktor´ herausquetscht. Ist schon alles ziemlich verrückt. Und gehört zum signifikanten Bereich des ´Abenteuer Wissen´ rund um das ´Akte X´-mäßige UFO-Abenteuer an den Outer Limits, was psychokulturell schon wieder ein Knochenbrecher für die UFO-Mythe ist, weil man dadurch wieder einmal prächtig sehen kann, wie dies alles läuft - blöde genug.

Und wer will da psychosozial Vertrauen zurückgewinnen...? Und noch wichtiger: Für WAS will da wer Vertrauen zurückgewinnen, was schon längst verspielt worden ist? Und zwar aus Leichtsinnigkeit heraus. Die Koppelung mit der Dummheit ist dies ja auch keine echte Unterstützung, meine zockende Herrschaften. Bizarr dabei ist aber, dass diese Art von "UFO-Erklärung" genauso anti- und unwissenschaftlich ist und eine krasse Eulenspiegel-Funktion zur UFOlogie mit ihren ´Fliegenden Untertassen´-Konzeptionen. Also ich weiß in diesem Wirrwarr - der auf beiden Seiten gar nicht notwendig ist - auch nicht weiter, sehe nur, dass alles den Bach runtergeht, wenn man nicht mal auf rationale, vernünftige UFO-Phänomen-Erforscher hört - um auf beiden Seiten das eigenständige Spiel durchziehen zu können. Und dies noch im dauerhaften Bemühungen immer neue Farbe auf den alten Rost aufzupinseln. Beten und hoffen wir nur, dass dieser ´Sprites´-UFO-Erklärungsirrsinn sich nicht genauso weiter ausbreitet wie in England der Himmelslaternen-Quark! Ach, dies ist alles reichlich bizarr.
