>TENNESSEE FIREBALL: Space rocks have landed in Tennessee. That´s the conclusion of researchers who recorded a brilliant fireball streaking over the Smoky Mountain state on Wednesday evening. Bill Cooke of NASA´s Meteoroid Environment Office reports: "On April 6th at 8:21:57 CDT, NASA all-sky meteor cameras detected a very bright fireball moving north across the state of Tennessee. First detected 52 miles above the Arnold Air Force base near Tullahoma, the meteor was brighter than crescent Moon and was approximately 2 feet in diameter, with a weight of 200 lbs. It was last recorded 30 miles above the town of Woodbury, Tennessee, moving at a speed of approximately 9 miles per second (32,400 mph)." Cooke continues: "The NASA Meteoroid Environment Office has reasonable confidence that some fraction of this meteor survived to the ground as one or more meteorites. Calculations are underway to determine the general impact location, which may lie close to the Kentucky border. Eyewitnesses to the fireball are encouraged to make a report to the American Meteor Society or to the Meteoroid Environment Office."<

Rasant: FIRE FROM THE SKY
FIREBALLs IN THE SKY FROM ASIA
"Strange lights seen over Huntersville - Meteorologist weighs in on likely cause"...
) hierzu:
>There´s something in the sky over Huntersville. Several residents of the Crown Ridge neighborhood along Huntersville-Concord Road spotted 30 to 40 odd, orange-glowing lights above the treetops around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, April 2. "It was one of the weirdest things I´ve ever seen," one resident said, requesting anonymity. "They moved east to west, but the lights didn´t act like a plane or a helicopter. ... They seemed to move independently of each other -- almost as if they were intelligent." At least four families watched the event. None wanted to be named in this article, but they all had similar sightings: several lights silently and seemingly racing across the sky. "They were in the sky for maybe five or 10 minutes and then just disappeared," one homeowner said. "They were moving fast. They´d cluster up and then move apart." Three of the residents were together when they spotted the lights. Some called their children to verify what they were seeing. "I don´t want to say UFO, like an alien, but I definitely don´t have any idea what was up there," one said. "It was pretty strange." One man tried to snag a video, but the low light made it unintelligible.
WBTV Chief Meteorologist Eric Thomas said he couldn´t be certain, but the cause was probably terrestrial. Most likely, he said, it was a meteor breaking up in the atmosphere, glowing red hot as it burns up {seit wann ist ein Meteor etwas IRDISCHES ? So einer ist ja höchst AUSSERIRDISCH ?} Or it could have been pranksters {! da kommen wir ja der Sache näher, wenn auch nicht genau, obwohl ja das Chicaco-Beispiel in der Luft liegt}. "The descriptions (provided by the Crown Ridge residents) sounds like something that is moving with the wind," Thomas said. "If the objects didn´t change direction, moved fast across the sky and didn´t seem to hover. That would explain why the they weren´t moving uniformly or in any kind of formation." WBTV, the Herald Weekly´s news partner, also received a handful of calls about the lights. It´s easy to fake this, Thomas said. Pranksters will sometimes tie road flares to helium balloons and release them, causing an out-of-this-world effect. That was the case last year when hundreds of South Charlotte residents panicked after a cluster of 20 to 30 strange orange lights were spotted floating across the sky. Elevation Church had released several small hot-air-balloon-like objects lit with fire, causing the lights, a WBTV news story about the event said. See the WBTV story {vom Herbst letztes Jahres} by clicking on the following link: http://www.wbtv.com/Global/story.as... <
Hiernach erfahren wir (alles wie gehabt wegen dieser glühenden Himmelspest!): "Hundreds of people in south Charlotte saw what appeared to be strange lights floating in the air around the Ballantyne area, sparking many to believe they were seeing aliens or UFOs. ... ´People thought they were UFO´s flying over Ballantyne, that they were disappearing and reappearing, and getting all excited, calling in to the news station, and of course we got a big laugh out of it,´ says Larry Hubatka, creative pastor at Elevation. ´It was for a series called The Highest {!}. Christ above all things {!}. And so we though this was a great visual to actually show things lifting up or raising up.´ ..."
