Guten Tag - keine Bange, hier gibt kein ´radioaktives Material´ auch wenn wir soetwas wie eine ´Schmutzige Bombe´ für die Konservativ-UFOlogen sind - und ´Liebe auf den ersten Blick´ für sie schier unmöglich ist, weil wir nicht das mysthische SF-UFO-Dreamland in den Outer Limits bieten (können) und sie aus einer anderen Welt der UFO-Psychokultur als SF-UFO-Landetruppen kommen; deswegen ist dies freilich hier nicht das gelobte Land bzw Mekka für die Hardcore-UFO-Fans - sondern mindestens das Fegefeuer. Grund: Wir sorgen für ´politische Komplikationen´ für exologische Sympathisanten, was auch bekanntlich für einige ufologische Militanz der von uns nicht zu verdrängenden Art in dieser paranormalen bzw paranoiden SF-UFO-Utopia-Welt sorgt, weil wir eine klare Botschaft auch in Sachen Integrität vortragen, was eben nicht unbedingt zu Solidarität führt - da es Interessenskonflikte und dadurch Versäumnisse gibt. Wir aber haben als UFO-Phänomen-Forensiker unsere eigene typische Signatur, was den ´Fliegenden Untertassen´-Mythologie-Pilgern nicht gefallen kan, da wir sie nicht in die unendlichen Weiten und Welten führen und keinen märchenhaften, neoliberalen Exologie-Feenstaub auf dem Haupt haben. Mit Logik, Rationalität und Vernunft ist dem Irrationalismus eben nicht beizukommen, weil jener von wilden Emotionen gesteuert wird.

Was gibt es heute wieder als Fall für den UFO-Fach- und Sachverständigen-Fuchs aka IFO-Profiler?

Begeben wir uns mal wieder auf den bunten Tummelplatz der UFOlogie - in diese Twilight Zone -, als sozusagen ´CSI Weltraum´ - wie uns mal der österr. ´Standard´ gleich zu Anfang des Jahres nannte ( http://derstandard.at/1262208751836... ) - sowie IFO-Profiler, die sich nicht nur über Jahre, sondern Jahrzehnte hinweg schrittweise weiterentwickelt haben und ihre Leistung in Sachen Kompetenz verfeinerten. Und dies geschieht ja immer noch, weil man aus Bewertungsfehlern lernt, von den es auch dieses Jahr ein paar Stück gab - in der Gesamtbilanz zwar minimal, aber ärgern tut es uns trotzdem immer noch ein bisschen! Auch kommen immer wieder neue IFOs im Zuge der Zeit auf, die starke Ähnlichkeiten mit alten IFOs haben - nehmen Sie mal die Billigheimer-Himmelslaternern, die aus den Miniaturheißluftballonen ´hervorgingen´, und dann wurden wir mit den GHBs auf Nachtflug im Sundance überraschend konfrontiert. Oder mit dem ´Fire in the Sky´-Ektremeffekt, der eine ´Ghostrocket´ bei L.A. vorgaukelte. Und letzthin der Santa Monica-´Silbersurfer´, der kein ´Fire in the Sky´ war - sondern nächtliche Airshow-Fallschirmspringer* mit Magnesium-Meteor-Flares an den Hacken! Diese Erfahrungen absorbieren wir - und zwar gleich, weil sie morgen schon wieder eine neue UFO-Fall-Herausforderung bedeuten können. Why not? Da braucht man ja nichts künstlich in der heißluftigen Mystery-Schwebe zu halten, um auf ´echtes´ UFO machen zu können. Sind wir MUFON-CES etwa? NEIN ! Na alla!

"At first I thought it was fireworks, but the light seemed to stay so I pulled over in my car and got out to take a look." The non-believer posted a video last week of a Pulselite unit being used on a plane and said such warning devices are now used on some planes landing in Adelaide to avoid bird strikes. Adelaide Airport general manager of corporate affairs John McArdle said Pulselite units were used on aircraft flying over Adelaide.

I travelled to Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk yesterday to reopen the investigation into Britain´s most famous UFO sighting - with the men who saw it 30 years ago. Former US airmen John Burroughs and Jim Penniston are still angry about what they believe was a cover-up of the most compelling evidence yet of extraterrestrial visitors. In the early hours of Boxing Day, 1980, the pair were on guard when they spotted strange lights in the forest, between US air bases Bentwaters and Woodbridge. Thinking an aircraft might have crashed, they went to investigate. In a small clearing they encountered a triangular-shaped UFO.

Jim, who got close enough to touch it, described weird symbols like Egyptian hieroglyphs on the craft´s side. As they watched, the UFO started to rise before shooting off at an incredible rate. Jim wrote in his notebook: "Speed: Impossible."

It was to be the first of a series of sightings. Two nights later Lieutenant Colonel Charles Halt, deputy base commander at Bentwaters, was at an awards ceremony when a young officer burst in and told him "It´s back". He quickly gathered a team and retraced John and Jim´s path to the clearing. There his men used a Geiger counter to take radiation readings. The levels were eight times higher than normal. As the team continued into the forest, their radios malfunctioned and their powerful searchlights cut out. Then they saw it. The UFO was back. Lt Col Halt later said: "Here I am, a senior official who routinely denies and debunks this sort of thing, in the middle of something I can´t explain." He was carrying a hand-held tape player and you can hear the men´s fear: "It´s coming this way... it looks like an eye winking, it almost burns your eyes... he´s coming... " At this point the UFO fired a beam of light just feet from the group before firing more beams across the air bases.

Sceptics have since blamed a burning truck of manure, flashing lights of a police car and even a beam from a lighthouse at nearby Orford Ness. But witnesses insist the claims are part of a government whitewash. There have been allegations of attempts at brainwashing, hypnosis and even "truth serums". For John and Jim, the search for evidence continues - but they vow they will uncover the truth. Mr Burroughs and Mr Penniston were patrolling the East Gate at RAF Woodbridge when they saw lights in the forest. What they witnessed has since been the topic of countless books, essays, television documentaries and speculation by conspiracy theorists. Mr Burroughs was back in the UK for the first time since serving in the forces. He said: "This is the most educated crowd of people we have seen together at one time. They have come from all over and seem to know as much about what happened as we do." Mr Penniston added: "It´s wonderful to have so many people here. But this isn´t about us getting recognition - it´s about something much bigger. This is about the truth."

The audience were given an insight into the entire timeline of events which took place in late December 1980. The gathered experts produced documents, audio and video files and what they conclude is physical evidence of a UFO landing in the Suffolk countryside.<
